In the final of the German Team Championships in wrestling 2021/22 the clubs ASV Mainz 88 and SV Wacker Burghausen will face each other. SV Wacker Burghausen has the chance to become German team champion for the fourth time in a row. Their opponents Mainz managed to qualify for the final at the very last minute in the previous semifinal.

The final match for the German Team Championship between ASV Mainz 88 and SV Wacker Burghausen was extremely exciting. It got really loud in the hall when the bronze medal winner of the 2021 World Championship in Oslo, Kristupas Sleiva from Lithuania used several throwing techniques and defeated Witalis Lazowski from Burghausen after only 2 minutes with 16:0.
